Annalie Brown

Annalie BrownAnnalie has over 10 years' experience in corporate communications in both the UK and USA. Her expertise spans the full corporate communications mix, but she has a particular focus building effective media relations campaigns, from message development through to delivering high profile campaigns and building sustainable journalist relationships.

She spent over five years working for Rolls-Royce plc, developing international media campaigns to support their civil aero engine portfolio. Prior to this she spent a further five years in PR agencies managing the media profile of numerous IT sector clients, such as Cisco, CapGemini, CSC, Hewlett Packard and PeopleSoft. Some of her biggest media successes were related to obscure news angles that resulted in substantial profile opportunities for the organisations involved. Such as a half-page Financial Times article highlighting AspenTech's roots in MIT, and a profile piece in The Times detailing the extraordinary lengths that CSC went to in order to protect the environment when it built its new UK headquarters.

She also has experience within public sector organisations having spent time working in the press office of the Police Complaints Authority, managing the reputation of this controversial non-departmental government body.

In her spare time, Annalie also acted as the media relations secretary for her ladies soccer team, building their profile to help recruit new players as the team grew and progressed through the Greater London League. Annalie has achieved a Masters degree in Corporate Communications from Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (UK) Diploma. She was also nominated for the PR Week Young Practitioner of the Year Award.
