Pauline Downie
Pauline effectively runs the NBA on a day-to-day basis, utilising all the skills and expertise of a seasoned executive director of an industry association. As part of her role, Pauline helps raise awareness of the valuable role the bee and honey industry plays in the NZ economy. She works to gain a more positive profile for the Association and the industry in general, and helps the association expand and progress relationships with related industries, government and government departments. Advocacy, media and issues management, industry promotion and budget management are key aspects of her role. |
In 2009, Four Winds Communications became the secretariat for the National Beekeepers’ Association of which Pauline is the joint-chief executive officer.
